Our client has a vacancy for a Business Development Assistant supporting sales growth and marketing opportunities in support of local health-related charities. This role will give you the opportunity to develop partnerships, work on cause related marketing activities, as well as developing corporate opportunities, making this a truly rewarding role.

Salary: up to £27,000

Location: Office based with some travel throughout the counties of Herts, Beds, Bucks, Berks, Oxon, and the London Borough of Hillingdon and surrounding areas

Hours: 37.5, 5 days per week

Contract Type: Permanent

About them:

Our client is a not-for-profit social enterprise formed in 1997 with the purpose of raising funds for their partner charities who care for people in their community.

Their Partner Charities:

East and North Hertfordshire Hospitals’ Charity; Florence Nightingale Hospice Care; Harlington Hospice; Hillingdon Hospitals Charity; The Hospice of St Francis; Michael Sobell Hospice Charity; Rennie Grove Hospice Care; South Bucks Hospice.

The Role:

  • Research, develop and implement strategies for market expansion.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with a variety of new and existing organisations in retail, medical centre, and business outlet settings.
  • Actively deliver marketing initiatives in line with the Business Plan and Strategy.
  • Expand and diversify the canvasser venue portfolio.
  • Support the Sales and Marketing Department.
