Job Description

Compliance Manager (part time – 3 days a week)

£60k - £70k

London – Hybrid

An opportunity has come up within a cloud led managed service provider, to be a compliance manger and take the lead on managing the Integrated Management System's compliance with standards such as ISO 27001.

This is a part time role, 3 days a week, reporting into the Chief Legal officer. So, it's an excellent opportunity to be at the heart of changes and responsibility. Maybe you have other commitments that mean you can't work full time, or if you fancy taking more time for yourself but want to remain at the forefront of the industry – this is the role for you

With a focus on ESG programmes, Data Protection and Security – this is an exciting opportunity not to be missed.

Responsibilities of a Compliance Manager

  • Maintenance of the Integrated Management System (IMS) – including compliance with ISO standards, security certifications and public sector frameworks.
  • Oversight of risk programme including registers, controls and policies.
  • Fulfilling the role of Data Protection Officer
  • Leading on the ESG regulatory compliance programme
  • Identifying compliance risks and developing strategies to mitigate these risks.

Requirements

  • Proven experience at senior leadership level within the compliance and security industry
  • ISO 27001 lead auditor is preferable but generally experience implementing and auditing ISO standards
  • Strong working knowledge of Data Protection and GDPR / experience acting as a DPO.
  • Strong working knowledge of security regulations and certifications
  • Experience in managing ESG regulatory initiatives
  • Experience implementing risk programmes
