As an experienced Mental Health Nurse from the NHS or private sector, you'll join the team at Emerald Place as a Mental Health Nurse working hours per week ( shifts), where you will change lives for the better. The shift patterns include working nights and weekends, hours a day, 3-4 days a week (7:30am-8:00pm for days, 7:30pm-8:00am for nights). What you will be doing As a qualified Mental Health Nurse (RMN), you will ensure young people aged 12-17 with acute mental health conditions receive high-quality care, while also supporting your colleagues and promote good teamwork. No two days are the same, with plenty to keep you engaged and motivated, but also a good amount of routine. Emerald Place Clinic is available solely for NHS funded care and treatment and the partnership brings together complementary expertise and best practice to jointly manage the inpatient unit and deliver a high-quality service for young people. Emerald Place Clinic is a general adolescent inpatient unit for the care and treatment of young people aged 13 up to the age of 18. Young people who are admitted to the unit will have a primary diagnosis of mental illness across a wide range of disorders and complex needs. These could include mental health conditions such as mood disorders and acute psychosis. Additionally young people may have co-existing additional needs such as neurodevelopmental disorders, including mild learning disabilities or autism. A young person could also be admitted if they have disordered eating.
