Bouygues Energies & Services currently has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Supervisor to join our Facilities Management team at Addenbrooke's Treatment Centre in Cambridge city centre.

This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours p/week, from 07.00 to 15.30 /12.00 to 20.30, Monday to Friday rotating weekly.


The role:

  • Reporting to the Operations Manager
  • To supervise the electrical/mechanical/building trade staff and specialist contractors
  • Ensure the immediate and proper allocation of work, and the completion of such work in accordance with the performance monitoring system and to client satisfaction.
  • Use of the Maximo CAFM system.
  • Order materials and services as required within agreed delegation level and certify satisfactory delivery/completion.
  • Monitor trade staff performance, timekeeping and sickness
  • Provide estimates for quoted works, site measurements, cost control information and maintain necessary records for effective administration as directed.
  • Required to undertake training and qualify as AP and/or CP if required.
  • Requirement to work with tools as necessary
  • Working 40 hours per week from 07.00 to 15.30 /12.00 to 20.30, Monday to Friday rotating weekly with participation in the on call rota

The person:

  • Must hold a recognised electrical trade apprenticeship and/or relevant qualifications to level 3 (theory and practice) in a relevant electrical discipline with suitable industry experience; 18th Edition essential and Testing & Inspection certification desirable
  • Significant experience in a building services environment with comprehensive M&E knowledge
  • Will be a team player with prior supervisory / management experience
  • Will be clientfocused with a delivery oriented and 'cando' approach to work
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Able to obtain DBS clearance
