We are excited to present a remarkable position within a vast commercial property located in Cambridge. CBW Staffing Solutions is currently on the lookout for a maintenance supervisor with a strong electrical background to oversee operations at this significant site. The successful candidate will report directly to the Electrical Supervisor and will be expected to possess at least a Level 3 electrical qualification. This role entails a higher level of responsibility compared to other electrical engineers on site, requiring a proven history in the maintenance of commercial properties. This is a permanent position offering a competitive annual salary with assured salary increments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, and refurbishment tasks in line with established schedules to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Adhere to all statutory and relevant regulations, particularly those concerning Health & Safety, COSHH, and Electrical IEE standards.
  • Perform fault diagnosis and corrective actions on plumbing systems and drainage installations.
  • Manage sampling and maintenance tasks for potable water services and ensure compliance with water hygiene standards.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of electrical installations, mechanical and electrical systems, and building infrastructure.
  • Identify and escalate any issues that may impact the safety, security, or functionality of the premises.
  • Provide technical expertise and support for various projects and initiatives.
  • Assist the maintenance team with additional planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the facilities and evaluate completed works and service contracts.
  • Foster effective working relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Exhibit exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Ensure projects are completed to a high standard, demonstrating the ability to self-assess and troubleshoot upon completion.

  • Monday to Friday
  • 09:00 - 17:00
  • 36.5 hours per week
