Western Cheshire NHS Talking Therapies Service has full / part time vacancies for Band 5, Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners to join our well established, innovative, and highly successful Primary Care - NHS Talking Therapies Service.

We pride ourselves on being a supportive, flexible and welcoming team.


We are looking to recruit Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners who are highly motivated to provide excellent, high quality and time limited low intensity psychological interventions in accordance with NICE guidelines to individuals in Western Cheshire.

have completed an 'IAPT' post graduate certificate in low intensity interventions, qualifying them to work as a Psychological Well-being Practitioner

provide step 2, NICE compliant interventions using digital platforms, remote technology, telephone and face to face, on an individual and group basis

have experience of working in an NHS Talking Therapies and/or Primary Care Mental Health Service

have good knowledge of the NHS Taking Therapies targets the Teams are required to achieve

will be required to work flexibly to cover the expanding service hours, as required by the service


CWP provides health and care services for local people, including mental health, learning disability, community physical health and all-age disability care - including the provision of three GP surgeries.
