Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Practitioner to join our Home Treatment Team in Chester. As a key member of our Urgent Care Mental Health First Response Service, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive assessments and interventions to individuals in crisis.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for working within a multi-disciplinary team to provide a range of services, including Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Teams, Liaison Services, Street Triage Services, Liaison and Diversion Services, and the Crisis Triage and Response Service. You will undertake detailed assessments of individuals' needs and provide evidence-based interventions to promote recovery and well-being.

Person Specification
  • Recognised qualification in mental health, such as RMN, AHP, Psychology, or Social Care (AMHP)
  • Sound knowledge of current professional staff development and continuous service improvement issues, particularly in the context of ADHD and personality disorder services
  • Good amount of post-registration experience or demonstrated competencies through Personal Development Plan
