Looking to join a well-established team at a prominent automotive services group in need of a Management Accountant? This role is tailored for a professional with robust commercial experience and a motor trade background. Your responsibilities will revolve around overseeing the accounting process and contributing significantly to the company's financial performance reporting.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Handling the accounting process, from sales and purchase invoices to journal entries.
  • Conducting account reconciliations and managing debtors & cash collection.
  • Forecasting cash flow and handling VAT returns quarterly.
  • Providing insights on weekly and monthly financial performance.
  • Supervising new vehicle funding and integrating data into management reporting software.
  • Generating ad-hoc reports and analysis for the Group Finance Director.
  • Setting timelines, costs, and resources for financial activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • QBE or Qualified Accountant (min. AAT) with extensive commercial experience.
  • Previous experience with dealership & workshop software, particularly Pinewood, is advantageous.
  • Essential experience with Kerridge.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and business management skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel with exceptional analytical capabilities.
  • Familiarity with the automotive industry and its accounts and management programs.
