What you'll be responsible for:

  • Make, amend, and cancel as necessary outpatient appointments.
  • Attend to patients on arrival and liaise with the medical staff to ensure that correct data is recorded on the Medway computer system.
  • Register new patients on hospital Medway and computer systems and ensure patient.
  • Provide admin support to Therapies electronic rota's for Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy predominately.
The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above

You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

  • An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
  • Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
  • A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

You'll have the following skills/experience:

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Packages e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • System knowledge of Health Roster, Health Rota and Medway.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
