The Corporate Account Support Manager oversees the business relationship between Biffa and its corporate customers. The role involves managing financial performance, growth strategies, contractual discussions, meeting KPI's and SLA's, compliance, customer satisfaction, and proposing innovative solutions.

Main responsibilities

  • Main point of contact between the organization and designated corporate customers.
  • Ensure execution of business account plans, service excellence, contract adherence, client retention, and price negotiations.
  • Retain corporate clientele by fostering positive relationships and expanding service offerings to meet revenue targets for the fiscal year.
  • Coordinate the tendering and/or benchmarking processes for clients, identify new growth opportunities, and prepare 'Response for Information' (RFI) submissions to drive profitable expansion.
  • Conduct customer assessments and deliver management reports using Power BI.
  • Support depots and customer service teams in resolving site issues, such as health and safety concerns, container modifications, or the introduction of new services.
  • Maintain customer debt obligations according to contract terms.
  • Engage effectively at all organizational levels to facilitate negotiations and communication internally and externally for mutual long-term benefits.
  • Address root causes of QLS issues leading to invoice delays or credit issuance, including assisting the Account Director or Manager in resolving payment-related queries within the sector.

Key requirements

  • Proficient in all Microsoft applications with an advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Analytical with a strong grasp of numerical data
  • Demonstrated experience in building and nurturing customer relationships
  • Driving license and willingness to travel nationally thrice a week (car allowance provided)
