Sales Support/Director to Director

We manufacture and distribute office phone booths and meeting pods, which we sell directly to companies and also resellers across Europe.
Due to our increasing team size, we are now looking for a Director of Sales (hybrid working) who has the ability to travel to London twice a week (our showroom is based near Farringdon station).
You will spend 50% of your time managing four Sales Managers who look after four European markets (including the UK).
The team size is expected to grow to 6-8 Sales Managers as we expand into further markets in the next 3-12 months.
Manage the Sales Team empatheticallyEstablish a good working relationship with the Sales Team and other colleagues
Provide training and improve the Sales Team's skill set where needed
Ensure usage of a single CRM tool across all Sales Managers
Work closely with the Co-founders and the Sales Team to improve the efficiency of our current sales efforts
The remaining 50% of your time, your role will be to look after our relationships with office design agencies, dealers and resellers in the UK (any client who is eligible for our trade prices)
Outbound Sales:
Reach out to prospective clients via various channels, introducing our phone booths and meeting pods
Set up meetings at our London showroom and convert leads to sales
Inbound Sales:
Respond to and convert trade inquiries coming in via our website
Key Account Management:
Foster and maintain relationships with our largest trade clients
You have 10+ years of Sales experience, ideally in a B2B setting (big plus if you have experience in the office furniture industry or related sectors)
You've managed Sales teams before with team members rating you highly
You are fluent in English (big plus if you speak any other European language)
At the same time, we're looking for someone who is empathetic, cooperative and lends a helping hand.
This is a hybrid role – you will need to travel to our London showroom 2x per week to meet prospective clients.
Our London showroom is based near Farringdon station. The other 3 days of the week you can work from wherever you like.For every phone booth sold, we plant 25 trees in Madagascar (see and donate 2 solar lamps to families in Zambia. In addition, the acoustic panels of one of our phone booths contain over 800 recycled plastic bottles.
Compensation:
Although we are a start-up, we can compete with large companies in terms of compensation.
