Our client, based in Newport, Telford, is seeking a Building Services Technician to join their dynamic team. If you have a mix of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and decorating skills, along with a proactive attitude towards maintenance tasks, this role could be perfect for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting various maintenance tasks around the site, including but not limited to re-hanging doors, fixing leaky taps, hanging notice boards, and changing bulbs.
  • Assisting with deliveries and collections of equipment to and from the main office, ensuring timely and efficient transportation.
  • Supporting engineers by preparing and organizing necessary kit/equipment for site tasks.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and decorating tasks.
  • Physical fitness to handle the demands of the role, including lifting and transporting equipment.
  • Possession of a valid driving license for transportation purposes.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel for basic data management tasks.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to a new maintenance planning system, potentially a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
