As an Inpatient Lead Physiotherapist at our Oxford Hospital, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality physiotherapy care to patients on their journey through treatment in inpatients.

Working with a multi-disciplinary senior management team, you will ensure quality service onsite, whilst also championing central protocols and pathways.

You will also ensure the team deliver evidence-based, quality physiotherapy care, drive innovation and provide support on complex queries.

You will support the Physiotherapy Department Manager with the clinical and operational management of the Inpatient Team.

Deliver a high standard of patient care and along with the physiotherapy department manager, take clinical standards compliance accountability for the inpatient team.

Ensure the department is compliant with all governance standards and participate in clinical audit and quality assurance processes.

Support investigation of relevant clinical complaints in line with the Nuffield Health complaints policy, in collaboration with other stakeholders.

Liaise and work closely with the Physiotherapy Department Manager for operational concerns.
A BSc or equivalent in chosen field with extensive post graduate experience of Inpatient Orthopaedic Physiotherapy.
Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Commitment towards the use of evidence-based practice and the ability to demonstrate excellent clinical skills in the chosen field.

Evidence of leadership or management roles previously an advantage, with ongoing CPD reflecting on a wide range of physiotherapy experience with a focus on an orthopaedic caseload and leadership/management.

Experience of developing services and delivering quality improvement initiatives.
Competent computer skills.
