Job Overview
Seeking a New Career Challenge
Due to recent project successes and increased client satisfaction, we have secured long-term frameworks to support our expansion strategy. We are currently looking to hire a strategic Director in our UK Infrastructure division to lead the growth of relationships in the Yorkshire and Northeast region, specifically overseeing the cost and commercial aspects of major programs.
This role requires leadership experience in project delivery at a strategic level with clients. While focused on Northern England, occasional travel across the UK may be necessary. A preferred candidate would be based near Leeds or Newcastle due to hybrid working arrangements.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in Cost and Commercial Management
- Preferably MRICS qualification
- Experience with NEC3/4 contracts, particularly Option C - Target Cost
- Skills in pre-contract tasks like procurement and commercial strategy development
- Post-contract administration knowledge
- Estimating abilities (preferred)
- Background in overseeing Major Programs and Projects
- Experience in Infrastructure sectors (Rail, aviation, utilities, power, highways)
- Leadership skills and team management experience
- Capability to lead client pursuit plans
- Proficiency in building and nurturing client relationships at all organizational levels
- Past involvement in managing projects and bids
