- Contribute to thought leadership on sensitivity modeling and emerging risk assessments.
- Collaborate with experts to introduce new stress scenarios reflecting PL Re's growing exposure to market risks.
- Support changes to reporting to accommodate the anticipated growth in affiliate transactions.
- Evaluate Bermuda's prudential regulatory impacts and advise accordingly.
- Assist Regional Risk AVPs with RMF updates to meet local requirements.
- Contribute to process improvements and knowledge enhancement to boost RMF maturity.
- Work with Actuarial teams to maintain RMF, including policy reviews and communication.
- Manage the Divisional Insurance Risk Sub-Committee responsibilities.
- Support Risk colleagues with projects, reporting, and analysis when needed.
- Aid in the development of economic capital frameworks and capital deployment insights.
- Qualified actuary with 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in the (re)insurance sector.
- Understanding of life (re)insurance industry.
- Familiarity with actuarial processes and relevant financial reporting standards.
- Expertise in economic capital techniques and ERM frameworks design and implementation.
- Independently efficient with strong relationship-building skills.
- Experienced in collaborating with various stakeholders including investment and pricing teams.
- Positive, collaborative, and team-oriented mindset.
- Mentoring abilities to develop junior team members.
- Proficient in project management and comfortable challenging the status quo.
