Reporting Actuary - Financial Risk

We are seeking a skilled Reporting Actuary to join our Group Actuarial function, focusing on Financial Risk. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality entity-level financial risk metrics for both Group and Legal & General Assurance Society.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of Group and LGAS entity-level specified financial risk metrics, including IFRS and SII sensitivities.
  • Develop and maintain the team's reporting systems and processes, ensuring they are robust and aligned with Group framework requirements.
  • Collaborate with Divisional SST teams, conduct effective results reviews, and provide support to Group SST customers.
  • Actively participate in Group governance committee meetings and liaise with Group and Divisional production teams and stakeholders.
  • Take ownership of maintaining relevant Group definitions and methodologies for aggregation of financial risk metrics.
  • Support the prioritization, development, and implementation of system, process, and methodology changes.
  • Represent Group for financial reporting and related MI within the company.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Life Actuary
  • In-depth knowledge of IFRS and Solvency II Reporting Metrics, Annuity Products, and Risk & Regulatory requirements
  • Experience of IFRS and Solvency II reporting
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to review results for reasonableness
  • Strong stakeholder management experience
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in reviewing processes and implementing improvements
