Applus UK are looking to recruit an administrator, someone who loves a busy multi tasking role, this will be based in Teesside area of UK.

You will be working on one of Applus UK clients contact, this would suit someone who can multi task, take commercial controls to ensure optimum commercial results are delivered.

Produce accurate reports for management and assist in forecasting, budgets, invoicing to name but a few daily tasks,


If you have outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, excellent organisational and leadership skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to work without supervision together with excellent time management skills and the ability to handle confidential information this could be the job for you.


Some key duties are:

  • Provide commercial guidance to ensure that operations staff members are fully aware of the implications of business decisions.
  • Interface with relevant client management personnel to align commercial goals wherever possible.
  • Maximise business value by managing where appropriate minimising the company's exposure to commercial risk.
  • Ensure commercial valuations are compiled accurately and on time to ensure earliest invoicing of works
  • Invoicing of work carried out via SAP, Purchase Order review and tracking to ensure contract costs are correct
  • Compile process and followup invoicing in line with commercial and contractual arrangements.
  • Provide the project controls & cost planning interface with peer contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Produce commercial reports for management review.
  • Identify and highlight trends or performance issues and address accordingly.
  • Assist in the development of annual budgets & monthly rolling forecast.
  • Support the resolution of commercial disputes with the clients.
  • Assist in the compilation and submission of rate reviews.
  • Support Applus UK proposals and be part of any tender process as appropriate.
  • Effectively communicate and build relationships with all relevant departments to raise commercial awareness.
  • Ensuring all project control arrangements are in accordance with company procedures.
  • Participate in the review of existing project procedures and deliver new proposals where necessary.
  • Identify appropriate sources of data and accurately record actual data for all cost elements.
  • Interface with Applus UK payroll accounts, commercial & procurement department(s)
