The Senior Creative Manager, EMEA will sit within our Global Merchandise Services (GMS) team.

We want you to be part of itnThe Senior Creative Manager will be passionate about thinking big, leading with passion, taking ownership, winning as a team, and leaving the world better than you found it.nGMS is looking for an experienced Senior Creative Manager to lead a team of designers who support our global Specialty Coffee customer in creating seasonal and specialty beverage ware collections across the EMEA region.

In this role you will work cross-functionally with the product team to bring innovative, locally relevant drink ware products to life.

As a working lead, you will design alongside your team members in generating trend-forward illustrations, Photoshop product and packaging renderings, art release files, physical mockups, technical drawings, presentation tools and product photography.nFinally, we guarantee that you will make a difference.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ORGANIZATIONnCreative ManagementnManage a small but mighty team of designers.

Support the sales strategy and goals of the Global Merchandise Services Business through creation and art direction of illustration, product and packaging renderings, production files and photography, servicing the EMEA market.nResearch regional trends and interpret buyer briefs to create forward-thinking, brand-appropriate visual assets in each of these creative areas.nGain an in-depth understanding of the ever-evolving global and local brand strategies of the customer and support the growth of the Specialty Coffee business aesthetic as they expand and refine their design and brand approach.nCollaborate with the Product Management Team to understand the assortment needs for each program and meet buyer objectives and calendar milestones.nAssign tasks, oversee projects and ensure on-time, high quality deliverables.nLead meetings between cross-functional departments on behalf of your design team.

Possess an intimate knowledge of project status across dozens of SKUs at various stages of the design cycle.nObjectively review work and offer process efficiencies.

Candidates must be comfortable with identifying improvement, coaching creative personalities and implementing change.nSupports and nurtures customer relationships through meeting customer's deliverables, supporting needs, gaining trust, and exceeding expectations.nGains and showcases deep understanding of our customer's Brand, strategy, and priorities.nProactively gains and showcases full understanding of customer's business, market needs and decision-making approach.nProactively gains and showcases a solid understanding of customer's consumer in region and market.nInfluences others both externally and internally.nPartners, supports, and guides key collaborators and cross-functional team members on customer needs, processes, back-end support, timelines and deliverables so projects are completed on time and in full.nProactively provides timely project status information and contact reports for line manager and cross-functional team.nProactively maximises business performance and opportunities.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVEn5+ years of creative leadership experience for a major brand, with a portfolio that demonstrates this work.nDedication to leading and managing a team of designers to maintain a healthy and balanced work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback and growth.nCohesive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite with an emphasis on Photoshop CC and Illustrator CC.nSolid understanding of pre-press and production work, with an emphasis on CMYK and PMS color systems across a variety of substrates.

Experience printing on ceramic, glass, stainless steel and plastic a plus.nPackaging and photography experience and expertise.nAwareness of and interest in regional market trends and a capacity to lead a team to adapt aesthetics that will enhance the customer's brand.nCollaborative attitude and comfortability with working cross-functionally.nExcellent organizational skills and dedication to guide your team in managing multiple projects at one time.nA discerning eye for trend-forward color combinations and a working knowledge of color theory principles.nProblem-solving mentality, a positive and collaborative attitude and love for the craft.nArt direction that centers around speed, accuracy, and acute attention to detail on all projects.

Unceasing accountability to own and meet deadlines.nWorks well under pressure and effectively with individuals and groups at all organizational levels, building relationships grounded in trust, candor and transparency.nExperience working directly with EMEA based or operating customers, FMCG, fashion and/or large specialty coffee chains.nAbility to lead your team to adapt quickly to changing business needs and deadlines.nAble to travel internationally as required to support customer needs.n3+ years' experience working with teams and customers across regions and time zones.nStrong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
