We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Worker to join our service who has the following Knowledge and Skills:

  • Awareness of factors impacting on and issues facing vulnerable children and young people and families (e.g. disadvantage, poverty, disability).
  • Knowledge of child/young people development.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Experience of direct work with children, young people and families
  • A full driving license and access to car for work purposes.


The service is a new partnership which focuses on three areas _(feeling safe and settling in, support and integration and throughcare after care) _with the aim to improve the lives of children and young people through the use of a rights based, trauma informed approach.

The team working with the young people will enrich their lives through support and activities aimed at promoting recovery, raising self-esteem, promoting mastery and enabling the young people to have experiences in line with their age and stage of development.

The service will work in partnership to ensure that the young people have access to educational and learning opportunities.
