We are working with a well established and respected client with a healthy order book of projects covering Power & Transmission, Renewables & Utilities to source a highly skilled Civil Engineering Project Manager to oversee the planning, design, construction, and delivery of civil engineering projects.

The successful candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Direct Management Responsibilities:
Sub Contractors

Contract QS or Commercial Manager

Develop Project Plans:

Budget Management:
Manage project budget and ensure expenditures remain within approved limits.
Oversee project team members, including engineers, contractors, and other professionals.

Project Coordination:
Coordinate project activities and ensure stakeholders and senior management are informed of progress.

Risk Management:
Identify potential project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.

Progress Monitoring:
Prepare programs and monitor progress to provide clear direction on critical construction and financial targets.

Ensure Quality and Timeliness:
Ensure all project deliverables meet company standards and are completed on time.

Facilitate effective communication among project team members, stakeholders, and other relevant parties through regular meetings, progress updates, and both formal and informal channels.


Documentation Management:
Maintain and review project documentation and records, including contracts, variations, and other important documents.

Manage Project Changes:
Ensure project scope remains aligned with project goals.
Collaborate with procurement teams to select and manage suppliers and subcontractors, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with project requirements.

Quality Control:
Implement quality control measures to ensure construction activities and deliverables meet required standards and specifications.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, change orders, meeting minutes, and other relevant records.
Provide regular project status updates and reports to stakeholders and senior management.

Oversee Project Completion:


Oversee the final stages of the project, including commissioning systems and equipment, conducting inspections, and managing the handover process to the client or end user.
