We are seeking an experienced Head of Trade to help support the company's ambitious growth strategy.

You will have a proven background in negotiating commercial agreements within the Travel Industry and be ready for a new challenge as 2023 sees unprecedenteddemand for Travel.

Salary is completely dependent on experience, so we are open to hearing your currentsalary and expectations.

This is a remote role, which can be based anywhere, however there will be regular travel to HO on the South Coast, as well as travel as part of the role.


JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • As the Head of department you will manage the performance of the Trade Team, coordinating their activities to ensure the success of this department
  • Partner and collaborate with suppliers of land and cruise product, using your strong negotiating skills ensure the best deals are agreed
  • Competitor analysis and business analysis to ensure you are abreast with what product is hot right now, to ensure you are focusing negotiations on the best product to take to market.
  • Proactively target deals and spot new destinations before they become too hot to handle
  • Working closely with the Marketing team to enable them to turnaround associated campaigns; ensuring the messaging and benefits are clear and on brand
  • Work with marketing to assess effectiveness to better inform business decision making in future
  • Manage multiple suppliers and key trade partners; visit as required; engage in productive collaboration

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:


You will have previous experience of negotiating commercial terms from within the Travel Industry (Product, Commercial, Yield Management roles held) and experience of managing a team within this environment.

You will be driven and ambitious, either alreadyworking in a Head of role, but keen to progress with an expanding company.

Or Head of is your natural next step.

THE PACKAGE:
The salary is open to discussion and negotiation dependent on your experience, interview and aspirations.

This is an award-winning, fast-growing company and you will be joining at a unique time both the company and the industry itself, as we see Travel reallytake off post-pandemic This is a homebased position but of course will include regular travel to be successful in the role as well as regular travel to Head Office (based on the South-Coast).
