Under our Vision and Strategy - launched in we have significantly grown our research quality and volume, building interdisciplinary teams and collaborating extensively internationally and externally with industrial partners. REF2021 was our most successful national research assessment ever, with a ranking of 15th in the UK for research power, increasing by 65% since REF2014. Since 2016 we have improved significantly in all major international research and reputation League Tables, and were ranked 122nd in the most recent QS League Table, up from 168th in 2014.
