Our client is a £300m turnover (UK) organisation that has a presence wide-reaching in supply chain solutions, providing comprehensive logistics services across various industries worldwide and are looking to recruit a Finance Business Partner.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work remotely up to 4 days per week, with occasional travel.


As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a vital role in establishing a strong partnership between operations, management, and finance.

Your expertise will provide real-time support, analysis, and valuable insights that contribute to effective decision-making. Your ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear and user-friendly manner will be crucial. By leveraging your analytical, commercial, and communication skills, you will drive improvements in financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the accuracy of financial information, including management accounts, budgets, forecasts, balance sheet reconciliations, and other key financial analysis and reports.
  • Prepare required information and business reports for senior finance staff, such as audits or oneoff analysis.
  • Provide insightful explanations and commentaries on all areas of financial information, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with local management to prepare budgets and forecasts for your assigned area.
  • Assist with the cash cycle, including timely and accurate invoicing and debt collection.
  • Support Business Development in RFI/tender processes from inception to implementation.
  • Ensure site administration and operational management understand and comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Challenge site administration to produce accurate information, including quicks.
  • Manage and guide your team, fostering a positive and highperformance culture.
  • Promote teamwork, motivation, and professional development within the team.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified (ACA, CIMA, or ACCA), or qualified by experience Accountant
  • Excellent knowledge of current accounting standards (IFRS and UKGAAP) and financial legislative requirements.
  • Experience in a similar role within a complex, fastpaced organisation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to bridge the gap between Finance and Operations.
  • Ability to add value to decisionmaking processes and influence daytoday operations.
  • Proven ability to challenge procedures and drive improvement and efficiency.
  • Outstanding stakeholder influencing skills.
  • Confidence in dealing with noncompliance and enforcing procedures and policies.
