About the Role
If you fall within the 14 to 25 age group, this is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic youth-focused charity like Teenage Helpline. As the Chair of the Youth Advisory Committee, you will be instrumental in providing feedback to the Board of Trustees, advocating for the youth perspective within the organization, and influencing decisions that align with the needs of those we support.
Responsibilities
- Lead regular Youth Advisory Committee meetings, facilitating discussions on the Charity's progress and ensuring all voices are heard
- Participate in Board of Trustees and Directors meetings to represent the youth perspective and contribute to key decisions
- Influence strategic decisions to keep the Charity relevant to young people's needs, including service offerings and engagement strategies
- Gather feedback from peers to better understand youth needs and share insights with Teenage Helpline
- Act as an ambassador for the Charity, promoting awareness of our services among your peers
