Job Title: Co-Chair of the NCS Trust Youth Voice Advisory Board

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as Co-Chair of the NCS Trust Youth Voice Advisory Board. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in shaping the Youth Voice Strategic approach of the NCS Trust and ensuring that the voice of young people is represented and amplified within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Champion the voice of young people within NCS Trust as the Co-Chair of the Youth Voice Advisory Board
  • Lead and shape the delivery of youth perspective to the RCb Board, acting as the primary conduit between the Youth Voice Advisory Board and the RCb Board
  • Prepare for RCb Board meetings, working with mentors to support your development
  • Attend strategic RCb Board away days and meetings to ensure youth voice is represented and amplified
  • Chair YAB meetings in an inclusive and empowering manner that helps other members of the Youth Voice Advisory Board to contribute and develop
  • Visit NCS programmes to understand NCS's impact and where it can improve
  • Bring recommendations and feedback to the Senior Leadership Team and RCb Board on various issues relating to the evolution of the NCS programme and how Young People experience it
  • Prepare for and attend key meetings and interactions to ensure youth perspective is influential across key aspects of NCS Trust's work
  • Advocate for meaningful youth voice practice across the Trust and support effective engagement
Requirements:
  • Must have had NCS experience
  • Ability to reflect and draw upon experiences of their own and others and passionately represent those experiences and insight
  • We seek candidates from regions outside London to enhance our representation and understanding of communities across England
