Reactive Works Delivery Manager

In this role, you'll be the big boss for the managed stations in the Western route, such as Paddington, Reading, and Bristol Temple Meads. You'll be in charge of making sure all the work gets done properly, safely, and within budget. Your main goal will be to coordinate all the works so that the clients are happy.
Key Responsibilities
Clients
- Communicate with customers, their reps, and everyone involved in the day-to-day operations.
- Strengthen existing business relationships and make sure they grow successfully.
- Suggest ways to adapt to changes in client needs and expectations.
- Supervise key stakeholders throughout the project.
- Lead a team of supervisors and workers assigned to the project.
- Ensure all safety measures are in place and followed correctly.
- Plan and organize resources to get the job done safely and on time.
- Check the quality of work before presenting it to the client.
- Stay on top of project progress and find ways to improve.
- Participate in meetings and report progress regularly.
- Attend meetings and keep track of discussions, decisions, and tasks.
- Create and monitor project schedules, reporting updates weekly.
- Raise any issues promptly to your supervisor.
- Keep project records up to date for client access.
- Ensure all necessary approvals are in place to avoid risks.
- Review construction methods and address any issues proactively.
- Identify and fix any quality or safety concerns.
- Manage any cost-related matters with the Quantity Surveyor.
- Supervise and train team members.
- Embody the values of Care, Integrity, and Excellence in all actions.
- Offer support to managers and operation teams.
- Represent the company at external events.
- Oversee subcontractors and the in-house team.
- Assist with external commercial requirements.
- Update project schedules to handle claims efficiently.
