Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to children with challenging behavior in an educational environment
  • Assist in applying behavior management strategies and interventions
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to establish a positive and inclusive learning setting
  • Track and document student behavior and progress
  • Offer feedback and assistance to pupils for the development of positive behaviors
Required Qualifications:
  • A relevant degree in Education or Psychology
  • Prior experience working with individuals displaying challenging behavior
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Capability to maintain composure and patience in demanding situations
Education:

At least a suitable degree in Education or Psychology

Experience:

Prior experience dealing with individuals showing challenging behavior

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Proficiency in behavior management techniques
  • Ability to collaborate well within a team
  • Outstanding communication and problems-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Additional training in behavior management
  • Experience in a school or educational environment
Working Conditions:

This position involves working in an educational environment with students who may demonstrate challenging behavior. It can be a dynamic environment requiring flexibility and adaptability.

The pay rates specified are inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary role with potential for a permanent position in the future.
