Behaviour Support Role in Leeds

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Behaviour Support Assistant to join our team in Leeds. The successful candidate will work with vulnerable young people, including those with SEN, SEMH, and challenging behavioural learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide positive role modelling and support to students with complex needs.
  • Develop and implement behaviour support plans to promote positive behaviour and learning.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to behaviour support.
  • Support students with 1:1 and group work interventions, including numeracy, phonics, and literacy skills.
  • Preferred - Team Teach training or Positive Behaviour training.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications and training for the role.
  • Ability to work with vulnerable young people and their families.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment.
