Hours: 40 per week

About Us:At Vale View Heights we are dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to our residents. We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Deputy Manager to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a caring and supportive environment, working closely with the Home Manager to ensure the best clinical outcomes for our residents.

The Role:As the Clinical Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day clinical operations of our home. You will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of nurses and healthcare assistants, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Home Manager in the operational management of the home.
  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to the nursing team.
  • Ensure the delivery of person-centred care and the assessment of residents needs.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individual care plans for residents.
  • Monitor and maintain health, safety, and security of the residents and the facility.
  • Act as a role model for good clinical and care governance practice.
  • Provide support and training to staff to improve care standards.
  • Deputize for the Home Manager in their absence.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with an active NMC PIN.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a nursing home setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality care.
