We're looking for an Apprentice Accounts Assistant to join our team.

If you are a driven individual who enjoys working in a challenging and varied role, then we want to hear from you.

The role will be based at our head office in Great Barr, Birmingham, with an immediate start.

What the role could entail:

  • Processing invoices & credit notes
  • Using our Nav software
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • All other filing and admin associated with above
  • Liaising with other people in the business to achieve the above
  • Credit card expenditure reconciliation

What we are looking for:

  • Good Literacy skills
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Working towards AAT or willing to study and gain AAT Qualification

We're looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team.

The role will be based at our head office in Great Barr, Birmingham, with an immediate start.

What you will do:

  • Processing invoices & credit notes
  • Compiling invoice for monthly payment runs
  • Using our Nav software
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • All other filing and admin associated with above
  • Analysis and ad hoc reports in connection with purchase ledger
  • Liaising with other people in the business to achieve the above
  • Credit card expenditure reconciliation
  • Bank posting, allocations, and reconciliations
  • Experience of nominal ledger reconciliations (preferred)

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience as a Purchase Ledger Clerk
  • Experience within the Construction or Demolition industry (preferred but not mandatory)
  • AAT Qualified or Working towards
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and high attention to detail
  • Follows up matters to completion
