Job Purpose


To ensure the smooth and effective day to day running of site-based security teams, to maintain excellent communication with the customer, and to ensure that agreed levels of service and contractual requirements are achieved as a minimum.


Key Responsibilities

  • To ensure that all officers on site are fully trained and well versed in the onsite procedures. Providing refresher and update training as and when necessary and maintaining accurate records of the same.
  • Maintaining the shift rosters and ensuring that the control room receives the roster before deadlines.
  • At the request of and in liaison with the customer, organise security cover for extra service events or requirement.
  • To carry out any investigations as required and to ensure reports are completed for the client and the Contract Manager.
  • Provide assistance for staff that experiences any welfare difficulties. When unable to resolve report to the Contract Manager.
  • To deal with, as far as is possible, and in line with company disciplinary procedures, any discipline issues which may arise on site.
  • To authorise and keep an up to date record of all staff holidays. To ensure the authorisation holiday form is sent to Head Office.
  • Ensuring all site records are maintained and monthly reports completed.
  • Ensure all Security Officers on site are well presented and wearing the correct uniform.
  • Provide a consistent professional service at all
  • Ensuring all H&S policies are adhered to

  • Professional, highly driven, flexible, enthusiastic, proactive, self

  • Previous experience in a supervisor/management position
  • Have an ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports
  • Demonstrate reliability including the ability to deliver high standards of both punctuality and attendance in order to ensure team effectiveness and availability
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with people at all levels
  • Immaculate presentation
  • Clear, concise and confident communication skills
  • Maintain and practice a high degree of confidentiality at all times
  • Computer literate and good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Able to be vetted back 5 years or since leaving compulsory education
  • SIA licence
