Job Title: Cleaner

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our team at Mitie. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional cleaning services to our clients, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and safety in all areas.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Undertake all necessary cleaning tasks, including routine, planned, and periodic cleaning, to meet the required standards.
  • Work effectively as part of a team, communicating with colleagues and supervisors to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Adhere to all Mitie Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures, maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Report any maintenance requirements or issues identified during cleaning tasks to the Cleaning Supervisor.
  • Ensure all equipment is kept clean, well-maintained, and in good working order.
  • Set a good example in terms of dress, behavior, punctuality, and attendance, promoting a positive work environment.
  • Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information and maintain security protocols, including locking doors and following lost property procedures.
  • Build positive relationships with customers, delivering excellent customer service and seeking opportunities to improve and exceed expectations.

Requirements:

  • Cleaning experience is preferred, but training can be provided.
  • Reliable, hardworking, and professional attitude.
  • Ability to work to a schedule and as part of a team.
  • Capable of working independently and taking initiative when necessary.
  • Self-driven and determined, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
