Position Overview

Role Summary:

Foundation Recruitment is excited to announce a new opportunity for an Operations Supervisor within a prominent retail establishment.

In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with the Centre Director to ensure the efficient functioning of the retail environment. Your responsibilities will encompass managing both technical and service-oriented operations, contributing to the execution of the annual operational strategy and budget, overseeing maintenance tasks, and supporting various operational initiatives. Your primary focus will be on improving operational efficiency, safety protocols, environmental practices, and enhancing the overall customer journey.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Oversee contractor management, implement the Work Authorization System, and perform regular Health and Safety assessments.
  • Ensure the site maintains high standards of safety, security, and cleanliness, while supervising security personnel and emergency response systems.
  • Assist in formulating the annual operational strategy and budget, and manage the processing of supplier invoices related to operations.

This position provides the opportunity to:

  • Contribute significantly to the effective management of a vibrant retail space.
  • Initiate and manage programs focused on safety, security, and environmental stewardship.

  • Excellent organizational skills, a dedication to improving customer satisfaction, adaptability to evolving situations, and a willingness to take on weekend responsibilities as needed.

Compensation for this role will be commensurate with experience.
