Minimum requirements:

nMust have a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering.nMust have a minimum of 10 years of experience with Process Simulation and Modeling technologies.nMust demonstrate expertise in process engineering end flowsheet-based processes simulation.nMust possess a comprehensive understanding of refinery facilities, feedstock/product movements, margins, giveaways, process yields, and mass and energy balances.nMust be familiar with international standards and specifications for advanced process control process modeling is also essential.nMust possess an exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills in the field of advanced process solutions.nMust possess strong leadership skills to effectively manage technical discussions and guide technical teams.


Overview:

nWe are currently seeking an experienced Process Simulation and Modeling professional to join our team at the Global Manufacturing Excellence (GME).

At GME, we offer top-notch technical support to refineries, NGLF, and petrochemical plants owned by a local company and its affiliates worldwide, including facilities in Saudi Arabia.

Your primary role will be to provide expert guidance and support to de-bottleneck process operations and optimize through process simulation technologies.

You will lead improvement initiatives for all operating departments within our Global Manufacturing Portfolio.

Duties and responsibilities:

nStreamline Process Simulation & Optimization objectives with corporate objectives and develop program best practices, and monitor KPIs to improve Process Simulation and modeling performance.nLead and develop Process Simulation models for refineries and NGL fractionations using dynamic or steady state simulation software applications.nPerform process simulations and modeling using specialized software tools to analyze refinery processes and optimize their performance.nDevelop and maintain thermodynamic models and mathematical equations that accurately represent the behavior of various refinery processes.nVerify the accuracy of the simulation models by comparing the results with actual plant data and conducting sensitivity analyses.nIdentify areas for process improvements and propose modifications or optimizations to increase efficiency, reduce costs, or meet regulatory requirements.nConduct performance improvement feasibility studies to increase yields, and operational efficiency of the company.nAnalyze chronicle problems and debottleneck complex models to improve process operations and economic benefits.nConduct safety assessments to evaluate the impact of potential process changes or plant modifications.nLead technical sessions such as the design review, model review, and commissioning.nProvide subject matter expertise to operating facilities Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams by consulting, providing awareness sessions, and participating and leading technical exchanges and conferences.nConduct benchmarks, business case studies, and pilot and evaluate process simulation technologies.nReview standards and General Instructions on behalf of the GME departments and act as leading SME.nPrepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate simulation results, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders.nCollaborate with other engineers and researchers and vendors to contribute to the development of new simulation software tools, methodologies, and techniques.
