Hours: 37.5 hours per week

About Us


The Parks Trust is an independent charity that cares for over 6,000 acres of parkland and green space in Milton Keynes.

This includes the river valleys, ancient woodlands, lakesides, parks and landscaped areas alongside the main roads that represent 25% of the city.


Our aim is to provide beautiful, diverse and sustainable parks, lakes, woods and landscapes that will be loved by the people of Milton Keynes, forever.


The Role


The Parks Trust hosts and enables over 500 events and activities annually and this role is key in helping make exciting and safe events happen, from planning stages through to delivery and evaluation.

Reporting to the Events & Community Engagement Manager you'll be organising a range of outdoor events throughout the year from small community events to large keynote Parks Trust events such as the Big Doggie Do.


In this role you'll have the responsibility to ensure our calendar of events and activities of varying scales are high quality, safe and enjoyable.

As the Events Officer for The Parks Trust, you'll be taking ownership and creating outdoor events that engage with a wide range of audiences.


About You


We are looking for a passionate individual looking to build on their experiences and help deliver and shape a variety of outdoor events and activities in Milton Keynes parks and green spaces.

The successful applicant will be a self-motivated, highly organised individual with great project management skills able to accurately produce event plans and risk assessments.
