The role
As an Assistant Production Scheduler you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary.

You'll join a diverse and dynamic team of production, project, engineering and other functional staff working together to deliver exciting cutting edge defence projects to UK and international clients.


As part of a central production scheduling and cost control team, day to day, you would be involved in all aspects of the live shop order database, ensuring they are scheduled and controlled to procedure so that customer and business demands are met and that the factory has a constant flow of work.


You'll also:

  • Assist with identifying and resolving overloads, within multiple work centres, and to recommend the best business solutions which minimises the impact on health & safety, utilisation of shop floor space, cost, quality and schedule.
  • Schedule the delivery of high quality engineering products with high complexity and low volume.
  • Plan for priority, overtime, shift work and WorkCentre efficiencies.

Essential experience of the Assistant Production Scheduler:

  • Must have worked with detailed production plans in a professional production engineering environment, preferably for a company producing high quality, high complexity, low volume products.
  • Experience of forecasting completion dates for multistage complex projects
  • Very organised, methodical and excellent problemsolving skills.
  • This role is a full time, permanent position based onsite at Bristol, Ashton House with working from home options.
