Job Description:
As the M&E Project Quantity Surveyor, your main task will revolve around collaborating closely with the Senior Commercial Lead on innovative projects at Heathrow Airport, managing tasks from inception to finalization.
Your responsibilities include streamlining the commercial aspects of projects for seamless operations and completion of final accounts.
This role is tailored for Junior/Assistant or Intermediate M&E Quantity Surveyors seeking advancement opportunities with a company that promises career growth and stability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing Subcontracts
- Supporting Commercial Reporting
- Estimating small works and variations
- Collaborating with finance for prompt payments
- Generating reports for client applications
- Performing routine site inspections
- Quantifying works
- Adhering to allocated budgets to enhance margins
- Reporting to a Senior Commercial Lead
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Background in Mechanical or Electrical field is mandatory
- Preferably familiar with NEC or JCT contracts
- Past experience in Heathrow projects is advantageous
