Overview:
nThe company is an EV Charging specialist growing extensively across the UK Market.

The company is looking for a Programme Manager with previous experience in EV Charging or Automotive as it will be inline with the structure of internal processes within the business.

Senior Programmes Manager to lead Programme Delivery.

This pivotal role will ensure the successful delivery of projects within established quality, cost, and timeline parameters while driving governance processes to maintain alignment with strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.


The ideal candidate will have worked in the Automotive sector working on multiple projects across cross functional teams, leading PMO, Team Management & Development.

The project sizes vary, ranging over £3m (Budget) for the large scale programs, running in parallel with other projects.

Responsibilities:

nDevelop and implement comprehensive program plans for Quality, Cost, and Delivery initiatives across the portfolio.nLead cross-functional teams in executing projects, monitoring performance against key metrics, and driving continuous improvement to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.nEstablish robust processes for quality assurance, cost control, and schedule management to mitigate risks and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products and services.nOversee projects with an annual spend of up to £50 million, managing multiple projects simultaneously.


nCost Control and Financial Management:


nDevelop and manage program budgets, forecasts, and financial models to optimize resource allocation, control costs, and maximize return on investment (ROI).nMonitor project expenses, variances, and financial performance against budgetary targets, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency gains.nProvide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making and resource allocation priorities.


nDelivery and Schedule Management:


nDefine project milestones, deliverables, and timelines in alignment with strategic objectives and customer requirements.nMonitor project progress, identify potential delays or bottlenecks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.nCoordinate with project teams, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve issues, manage dependencies, and optimize resource utilization for project success.


nGateway Governance:


nEstablish and maintain Gateway Governance processes to ensure alignment of projects with strategic objectives, regulatory requirements, and risk management protocols.nLead Gate Review meetings to evaluate project readiness, assess risks, and make data-driven decisions regarding project approval, continuation, or escalation.nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement Gateway Governance standards, templates, and tools to streamline decision-making and improve project outcomes.


Qualifications:

nBachelor's degree in business, engineering, project management, or related field; advanced degree preferred.nProven track record of at least 3 years in program management, with a focus on quality, cost, and delivery excellence in complex projects or programs.nExcellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.nAnalytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.nCertification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) and quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) is a plus.
