This post is an exciting opportunity to join the e-Systems team at Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust.


The e-Systems team is responsible for the management of many clinical systems across the Trust, including the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) and its component parts including the Patient Administration System (PAS), the electronic Document Management System (eDMS) and several others.


To manage the operational activities and staffing within the e-Systems function in order to support achievement of Trust and departmental key performance indicators in a timely manner.


To be responsible for the day to day management of systems and procedures within the e-Systems function to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the service.

To work closely with system trainers to support the delivery of a range of training sessions to end users.


To ensure the data quality of the systems is maintained at a high level in line with local policies and procedures addressing any issues as identified.


Members of the e-Systems team must be prepared, and have the ability, to act as change agents and champions of the system, and to encourage and support Trust staff using these systems.


Sheffield Children's is one of three independent, specialist paediatric hospitals in the country, providing dedicated healthcare for children and young people across community, mental health and acute specialist settings.
