Job Purpose:


As a Project Support Officer at the forefront of delivering some of the UK's key Defence and Security contracts, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting complex projects and managing your own portfolio of minor projects.

This role involves the timely and cost-effective delivery of products and services to our customers, ensuring high standards of documentation and project management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of minor tasks and projects autonomously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
  • Coordinate communications between various stakeholders, including facility users, contractors, and internal departments
  • Work as a key member of the CDE Managed Service Team, contributing to the strategic goals and maintaining alignment with project objectives

Day-to-Day Activities:

  • Utilize strong IT and technical skills to enhance project tracking, monitoring, and reporting through tools like Microsoft Office and CDMS
  • Creating Consolidated Comment Response Matrixes
  • Chasing and closing out Technical Queries, Drawings and Transmittals
  • Interfacing with package leads
  • Taking Meeting Minutes & Diary Scheduling for stakeholders and the senior leader teams

MY PROFILE

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educational Background in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field
  • Experience: Experience in leading or supporting project execution within a multistakeholder environment

Desirable Skills:

  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI, and SharePoint
  • Independent working capability with mínimal oversight
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and a positive, collaborative attitude
  • Commitment to continuous learning and meticulous attention to detail
  • Background in Infrastructure

Security clearance:


Due to the nature of work to be undertaken applicants will be required to meet certain residency criteria in order to attain a minimum level of UK security clearance if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level.

Working locations will be primarily in Bristol with visits to Plymouth
