As a Barclays Products Compliance Manager, you will support the Chief Compliance Officer for Barclays UK through delivery of the Barclays UK Compliance plan with a particular focus on the manufacturing of retail Products to BUK customers and the use ofData in and outside of BUK.

What will you be doing?:
- Supporting the daytoday compliance and conduct oversight of Barclays UK Product and Analytics with a particular focus on the Current Accounts and Overdrafts
- Providing conduct related guidance and advising on the delivery of new products and services as well as reviewing customer outcomes from existing product and services
- Developing an understanding of the Current Accounts business to enable effective oversight and challenge to the business
- Owning the tracking and resolution of issues, risk events and breaches, ensuring they are logged and tracked to conclusion
- Escalating quickly when items are not progressing as expected
- Spotting themes or trends across business lines which pose a significant risk to good customer outcomes
- Supporting the interpretation of requirements and regulatory change, as relevant, across a range of topics
- Supporting the Barclays UK compliance team more widely, including administration of compliance governance and adhoc tasks where requested
What we're looking for:
- Naturally inquisitive individual with ability to quickly assess information in order to assimilate key risks and issues
- Ability to exercise judgement with little oversight and work collaboratively to drive good customer outcomes
- Innovative and a strategic thinker
- Understanding of existing and emerging technologies used in the distribution of retail banking products and services, and the conduct issues surrounding them
Skills that will help you in the role:
- Awareness of emerging technologies and risks associated with them from a Customer outcomes perspective
- Solid communication skills imperative particularly the ability to communicate complex scenarios simply, clearly and briefly
- Solid execution mindset with ability to set deadlines, monitor progress and escalate where required
- Ability to selflearn, be relentlessly curious and challenge outside of comfort zone
Where will you be working?
Northampton was the birthplace of Barclaycard in 1966 and we've been based in Pavilion Drive since the building opened in 1997.
We purchased the building from the landlord in early 2018 as a sign of our commitment to investment in Northampton.
Plans to furtherdevelop this Campus-style location are under way to allow for a real collaborative work environment. Based just off the A45 it is easily accessible by both car and bus routes.
