Audit & Risk Recruitment

have been mandated by a charity specialising in children's health. They are hoping to source a Risk & Assurance Manager.

This will be a key role for the organisation, helping to build out their enterprise risk management framework and ensure minimum financial controls standards are met, as well as ensuring standards for business continuity.

Our client employs 550 staff and has an average annual income of £30 million per annum.


The three key facets of the role will be within enterprise risk, internal controls and business continuity, but the key deliverable will be to build and roll-out the enterprise risk management framework.

This is a very customer facing role, ensuring that employees and stakeholders within the organisation understand and are 'bought in' to enterprise risk.

Your role will also cover financial controls, and you will play a key role in ensuring that an adequate financial controls framework is in place.

You will also be taking ownership of business continuity standards, in line with requirements set by NHS England. You will report to audit & risk committee and other committees as required.


Our client needs a qualified accountant with experience of working within an audit/finance department of a charity, public sector institution or large business.

You will have Risk Management experience and be able to effectively communicate Risk to stakeholders at all levels clearly and concisely.

Excellent oral and written English skills are a key requirement.
