  • We are seeking to recruit several Associate Apprenticeship End Point Assessors.
  • The Apprenticeship End Point Assessor is responsible for End Point Assessment activities under the conditions, timescales and arrangements agreed in the End Point Assessment Plan (EPA Plan). The Assessor will be required to adhere to South Devon College EPA processes and use standardised EPA's documentation relating to the End Point Assessment (EPA) in a particular standard(s). They will work with the Lead Assessor (LA) for the Standard being assessed and EPA Internal Quality Assurance (IQA Lead) to review and evaluate assessment processes to maintain the highest standards of provision. They will maintain records of all EPA work in accordance with LA requirements. They will have detailed knowledge of the EPA Plan and will share relevant information regarding EPA with LA where this may inform/improve South Devon College EPA provision.
  • Assessments may be undertaken facetoface or online as outlined in the End Point Assessment Plan and in accordance with the EPA Agreement, and any circumstantial requirements. The Assessor may be required to travel to undertake assessment duties within an agreed radius (travel expenses will be covered). The Assessor will be allocated assessment roles by the Lead Assessor and will attend Induction, training, standardisation, moderation and review meetings as required.
  • You will have professional qualifications/awards as required by EPA for the Assistant Practitioner (Health) Standard. For example, BSc Nursing or FdSc Assistant Practitioners, and at least 5 years current experience in the sector.
