A great opportunity is now available to gain experience in our three mental health inpatient ward at the Campbell Centre.


We are looking for an Activity coordinator who is passionate, motivated and willing to join our team in providing recovery focused support for individuals with mental health needs.


The successful applicant will be expected to provide interventions with personal recovery principles in order to improve the service users' quality of life and to support them to do the things they want to do and live the life they want to lead.


You will facilitate a programme of social, creative and skills-based activities to both individuals and groups which promotes social inclusion for service users and work closely with the multi-disciplinary team in leading on the facilitation of client centred activities.


You will need to demonstrate effective communication skills and form positive working relationships, using warmth and empathy that enables service user empowerment.


In return we offer a supportive working environment with regular supervision and an annual appraisal and the opportunity for personal development.

Informal visits to the unit are welcomed
