Our client, a leading organisation, is currently seeking a Purchasing Assistant to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with previous experience in Accounts/Finance to contribute to the efficient procurement of products for the company.

Responsibilities Include:

Providing strong administrative and organisational support
Monitoring stock levels and reporting findings to the Purchasing Manager
Maintaining and ordering office consumables, such as stationery
Updating internal systems and logging historical data
Managing and ordering the ticketing process
Supporting the ordering process with suppliers
Resolving purchase orders and invoice queries
Investigating and resolving ordering queries
Developing strong relationships with internal departments and suppliers
Conducting due diligence checks and applications for new suppliers
Comparing supplier stock levels
Utilising Excel and Microsoft applications proficiently
Demonstrating a forward-thinking mindset and a can-do attitude
Ideally having worked in a similar role for a minimum of two years

Displaying good IT skills and a high level of accuracyIf you are a detail-oriented individual with excellent organisational skills and a passion for procurement, our client's team welcomes you.
