3 nights per week Wednesday, Thursday and Friday eve 10.30pm-6.30am May also include any holiday cover. Bar experience a bonus.


We are a 30 bedroomed family run hotel with an extremely high customer service focus and an aim to please.

We are recruiting for an experienced individual with an eye for attention to detail.


You will need to demonstrate good communication skills with regard to dealing with the public and be very hands on.

Your duties will include covering the reception desk in the evening for late arrivals and also checking guests out of the hotel.

Bar work and cleaning will also form part of your job description as-well as security checks around the hotel in the evenings.

You will be able to work on your own and use your initiative in sometimes challenging situations.

Duties:

  • Oversee the front desk operations during the night shift
  • Conduct night audit procedures to ensure security of the building
  • Handle guest checkins and checkouts
  • Provide exceptional guest relations and resolve any issues or complaints
  • Ensure adherence to hotel policies and proceduresBar work
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations during the night shift

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, working on own initiative
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with numbers on a till system
  • Problemsolving skills and ability to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively
