Hawk 3 Talent Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Night Shift Operations Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in food production and be able to oversee the production of every shift, ensuring targets are met and the shift is running efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the production of every shift, ensuring targets are met and the shift is running efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure adherence to production plans and help with planning of weekly production schedules.
- Liaise with day shift production manager and Operations Director to ensure smooth production.
- Work with the engineer department to ensure all equipment and plant are running safely and effectively.
- Optimize resources and control staffing levels to agreed levels with the Operations Director.
- Proactively manage staff to ensure they have the necessary training to perform all relevant tasks.
- Manage supervisors and team leaders to ensure they are delivering on all aspects of their roles efficiently.
- Measure shift performance against set and agreed KPIs.
- Ensure compliance and accuracy of all paperwork from the team.
- Ensure all products are produced in line with agreed customer specifications.
- Ensure Health & Safety guidelines are followed.
- Identify bottlenecks or weak areas within the process and implement improvement plans.
- Identify training requirements for the team and organize and plan required training.
- Conduct annual staff appraisals and daily meetings.
- Experience in FMCG/food environment with at least 5 years of experience.
- Good knowledge of BRCGS food standards/HACCP L3/FSL3.
- Strong Excel knowledge and skills.
- Attention to detail - quality controlling.
