Residential Support Worker – Children's Home

Are you experienced in working with children with additional needs and eager to contribute within a Children's Home, helping them to become more independent in a nurturing environment? Rolle House, a registered Children's Home, specializes in providing support to Deaf young individuals with complex needs. The Home is known for its caring and child-centered approach, implementing therapeutic and trauma-informed methods (Thrive).

As a Residential Support Worker, you will undergo training and have a personalized development plan to enhance your learning and apply it to your role effectively.

In your day-to-day responsibilities, you will assist our young individuals in exploring new opportunities, organizing engaging and developmental activities to promote their independence. All these efforts contribute to creating joyful memories for these young individuals during their formative years.

Operating on a 3-week shift pattern within a team of 4 members and reporting to a Team Lead, you will work approximately 35 hours, including sleep-ins as part of a 24-hour shift.

Being part of the Residential Support team at the Deaf Academy ensures that you are involved in a team dedicated to inspiring and empowering our young individuals to thrive. Our ultimate goal is to prepare them for a content, healthy, and satisfying future.
