  • To champion and drive forward the efficient, effective operation of sales support. To develop relationships with key influencers both internally and externally. Being a key contributor to drive Getinge UKI demo stock control across all business areas to co-ordinate stock availability, liaise with logistics, sales personnel and customers to ensure timely arrival and collection of clinical and non-clinical trials and demonstrations.


Management of main sales in box to ensure timely delivery of customer queries and orders to the relevant sales administration teams.


Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Control/operate telephone system and process incoming calls to branch.
  • Typing, data entry and document services as required.
  • Prepare quotations.
  • Order processing and invoicing (Sales & Service).
  • Management of consignment stocks and calloff orders.
  • Assist in preparation of tender submissions with the Tender Clerk.
  • Adhere to tight deadlines.
  • Respond to customer enquiries and queries in a polite and informative manner.
  • Ensure filing is kept up to date and in line with company guidelines.
  • Assist sales and service staff where necessary.
  • Assist other members of the administration team as required.
  • Maintain up to date records of installed base.
  • Stock maintenance and control.
  • Mail shot and literature orders as required.
  • To liaise with sales staff in relation to demo stock availability
  • Obtain customer agreement and internal approvals
  • Coordinate delivery and collection of trials and demonstrations with internal and external logistics
  • Ensure relevant consignment movements are tracked in SAP to comply with internal and external audit procedures
  • Maintain appropriate records of equipment request
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external decontamination requirements and records
  • Provide statists on stock usage in order to make recommendations as to demonstration stock levels
  • Report of missing stock to liaise with relevant departments for retrieval purposes
  • Liaise with relevant managers and finance teams in relation to stock writeoff
  • Work closely with service engineers and workshop to ensure routine maintenance checks and repairs are carried out of the demonstration stocks
  • Routine sale and renewal of existing demonstration stocks
  • Diary Management

Quality System Duties and Responsibilities:

Build Quality into all aspects of the work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

  • SAP experience preferred
  • Strong IT skills; Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage own workload and prioritise.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team_. _
