Description

Reporting into the HR Director you will play a key part in supporting with the design and delivery of the people strategy while also being responsible for the day to day operational HR activities. You will have a full time HR Administrator to support you with administrative and transactional duties which will give you the time and resource to deliver on advisory and business partnering work.

You will be joining an organisation that is bought into HR and the value it can bring to an organisation. The HR Director you report into will provide you with full autonomy and wants someone who can challenge him professionally and bring new ideas to the table.

Key duties will include:

Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needsOversee staff budget, including recruitment expensesCreate and execute recruitment strategies, such as job postings, sourcing, and candidate evaluationCoordinate with agencies and service providers as necessaryManage the company's careers websiteConduct interviews and assessments to evaluate candidate suitabilityEnsure a consistent and smooth onboarding experience for new hiresDesign and implement talent development programs tailored to specific rolesFoster a positive work environment that encourages growth and employee engagementAdminister regular performance reviews, career development, and succession planningIdentify and address individual training needs within budget constraintsProvide coaching and guidance to employees and managersMonitor compensation across teams to ensure fairness and market relevanceCoordinate monthly payroll reporting, including overtime, deductions, bonuses/commissions, new hires, and departures, and liaise with external payroll agencies promptlyAddress and manage employee concerns, grievances, and conflictsPromote open communication and trust within the organizationMonitor employee satisfaction and well-beingHandle disciplinary matters in line with company policiesDevelop, update, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and guidelines, and communicate them to team managersEnsure compliance with employment laws and regulationsAssist the HR Coordinator in maintaining accurate employee records and documentationIdentify opportunities for process improvement and efficiencyImplement effective HR systems and workflows, improving or replacing existing HR software to reduce manual tasksTake responsibility for all HR-related matters at the management levelSupport management team members in recruiting, selecting, managing, and developing team membersProfile

A successful HR Manager should have:
